We are in -network with a few insurance plans (listed below). Each therapist sets their own fees; please confirm the rate when scheduling with your therapist. Couple and family sessions often require more time and, therefore, incur a higher fee (to be discussed ahead of time).
Payment is due at time of service. We currently accept the following insurance plans (please note that not every therapist accepts every insurance):
- Aetna
- Highmark Blue Shield
- Blue Cross/Blue Shield (to include out of state plans & federal employee plans)
- Independence Blue Cross- Keystone Health Plan East and Personal Choice
- Independence Administrators
- Magellan
- Optum/United Health Care (UHC)
If your insurance plan is not listed above, we can provide you with a receipt for you to submit to your insurance company as an out-of-network provider. Many times insurance companies will reimburse you based on your “Out-Of-Network” plan. (Each plan is different. Please call the number on the back of your insurance card to inquire if you are interested in this.)
Using their out-of-network benefits, some clients have been reimbursed 35-100% of their session cost; in some cases, it is less than or equal to the co-pay. Call your insurance company to learn more or ask us if you have questions! Payment is due at the time of service. It is the responsibility of the client to submit these claims; Summit Grove Counseling will submit claims to insurance companies with whom we are in-network only.
We do not work with EAPs.
Sliding Scale: Sliding scale availability is limited. Please check with your therapist to inquire about their sliding scale openings.
