In my experience, all of us will ultimately experience problems that seem to overwhelm our normal abilities to cope. We come to therapy because we don’t want to burden those around us and yet we have a need to be heard, validated and understood. We all ask ourselves what is needed to get through the storms of life and how to keep from repeating negative patterns. My approach to counseling can help restore the balance and emotional well-being that sometimes gets lost.
I love helping people change and improve their lives!
I really enjoy working with clients that are struggling with relationship, school or work issues. I also specialize in treating anxiety, life transitions, as well as drug/alcohol issues. I use the experience I have gained from well over 15 years of making connections and helping others respond to life’s challenges.
My approach to therapy is always welcoming and non-judgmental. Blame and dwelling on what might have been have no place in my approach. Therapy is about addressing the issues you choose in a way that respects you as a person and always validates your experience.
I also specialize in relationship issues. Despite our best efforts and good intentions, we all go through difficult times in our relationships with those closest to us. I specialize in helping you navigate the emotional stress that comes with experiencing conflict with a spouse, partner or family member. I use specific tools that will guide you in your goal of building and restoring the relationships that are most important to you.
