Jessica is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. She received her BA in Sociology along with her MS in Counseling Psychology: Marriage and Family Therapy from Holy Family University. Over the past decade, Jessica has worked with a very diverse population with a broad spectrum of presenting concerns such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, mood disorders, and substance abuse disorders. She has experience working in a variety of environments some of which include wrap around services in home environments, school-based services, and outpatient care.
Jessica’s counseling style is warm and compassionate. She believes that treating people with respect and kindness is key to a successful working relationship. She understands the confusion and frustration when someone does not understand the feelings and emotions they are experiencing. She enjoys helping her clients to refocus and organize their thoughts as they rediscover themselves. Jessica enjoys celebrating her clients victories no matter how small they seem or feel. Her clinical approach is a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, rational emotive and person-centered therapy. Her main objective is to tailor her approach to the needs and goals identified in her client’s treatment plan.
When Jessica is not providing counseling services, she can be found running outside, drinking coffee from a real coffee mug, and reading a book outside. She likes to spend time with her two young children and her husband.
Jessica sees clients 18 and older; she is currently an in-network provider for Highmark/Blue Cross Blue Shield, Independence Blue Cross (to include Keystone Health Plan East, Personal Choice, and Independence Administrators), Aetna, and Optum/United Health Care.
